He led the company of Mara of the Acoma into their hive in order to negotiate with his cho-ja queen. Then he led them back to the surface where they confronted Inrodaka and the Ekamchi. Lax'l intervened so that nobody would strife upon their ground. As Inrodaka and Ekamchi forces withdrew, he sent 100 cho-ja soldiers accompanied them until the estate's boundary.
The next mid-autumn, he along with 20 soldiers joined the new hive and became its Force Commander. He stayed there and once met Mara again during one of her visits to the queen, four years later.
