Grey warriors are soldiers, servants, advisers etc of obliterated houses such as the Tuscia. However during the Rift War many prisoners of war from midkemia ran away and became gray warriors. An example of slaves running away is when some of Kevin's friends ran away. Grey warriors are like bandits and have very hard lives.
