Duke of Salador is the title of the ruler of Salador, third most powerful duchy in the East.
History[]
Lord Kerus held the office during the Riftwar. However, because of the King Rodric's condition, he was put to death and replaced by Guy du Bas-Tyra's favorite, Richard, who was killed leading the Armies of the East against the Tsurani. The office was left vacant during King Lyam coronation.
When Princess Carline forced Laurie to make a proposal to her, King Lyam named him the Duke, as he cannot let his sister marry to a commoner. Laurie's line became known as du Salador.
